PIAGGIO FORAYS INTO EV SPACE Ape E-City LAUNCHED.
Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited (PVPL) announced it's foray in the nascent Indian electric
vehicle (EV)
space,rolling out the all-new Ape E-City under the Ape Electrik Passanger brand.
The Ape E-City will be equipped with advanced lithium-ion batteries (fixed as well a swapping
batteries) and offers a driving range of 60-70 kms.
The newest offering from the Piaggio stable comes with automatic gearbox, superior power and
torque, full digital cluster, the company noted.
